There is a player who received three red cards in a game.
"Din Windas, a former Premier League striker, has been sent off three times in a game."
After nearly 20 years of playing, Dean Windas played for Hull City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Oxford United. As a result of scoring many goals while playing as a striker, he scored 234 goals in 732 games.
Despite his calmness in front of goal, he often caused friction with the referee due to his temper. While playing for Aberdeen, Scotland, Windas received seven red cards in just two years, including three in a game.
In November 1997, Aberdeen faced Dundee United in a Scottish League game. Within 12 seconds of the game, Windas made a strong tackle on Eric Pedersen, receiving his first yellow card by the referee.
Twenty-two minutes later, he fouled Pedersen again, and referee Stuart Dugal issued a second yellow card to Windas, drawing a red card accumulated warning. However, Windas was shown a second red card after repeatedly rebelling against the referee.
On his way out of the stadium, Windas tore the corner flag off the ground and threw it throughout the stadium, leading to his third red card in minutes. In October 2014, Windas talked about the incident.
"He let me out because of two tackles, he let me out again because he called me Scottish, and he let me out again because I tore the corner flag on the ground," he told Four Fortunes.
He continued, "When I met him at the office later, he gave me three red cards. I was banned from eight matches and disciplined for four weeks of unpaid wages. And the next day, the coach was fired." 사설토토
Aberdeen lost 0-5 to Dundee, and manager Roy Ayton said after the game: "It was essential that the players didn't lose their discipline as Dean paid for it."
